This movie is part of the MCG 4K remaster project. These movies have been professionally remastered in 4K. They are now high quality master versions, that have far superior depth, detail and resolution compared to the streaming originals. We went back to the original raw footage and re-analysed what we could improve on each film, removing the older more stylised grades so the original footage can shine through. The letterbox black bars have been removed where possible (some are early Red Epic footage that are baked in so those remain) so you can now enjoy up to 30% more screen space. We have updated the music and re-graded all footage for better clarity. Each movie is now running at a higher bitrate (Blu-Ray quality or higher in some cases for shorter movies) and is wrapped in a more efficient HEVC codec that provides superior visual fidelity. We have worked to reduce noise and any compression artefacts.
